Hangar powered models are units with rectifiers but supplemented with batteries, hence originally termed Hybrid because they are more than just a basic battery start cart. These are units that have
both an internal rectifier unit powered from either normal single phase power or three phase power.

HYBRID units have a rectifier built in for running avionics and air conditioning on the
ground, but are also augmented with batteries for starts. HYBRID units may be purchased
with or without the optional gas powered generator. Units that are engine powered are packaged
in a slightly larger enclosure that reflects true professionalism. To read more about these

All hybrid models include at no charge a battery state of charge meter.
|
|
|
|
The rectifier in the Hybrid units have current limit protection which means that the unit does not have to be disconnected from electrical power during starts.
